HUF kicks off the new year with an apparel collaboration celebrating the 1990s-era skate and street culture, with the iconic sportswear brand Starter.
Founded in 1971, Starter helped popularize athletic gear among the mainstream. By the ’90s, it was an established staple among the skateboarding, hip-hop, and street culture communities.
Paying tribute to its roots, HUF adds the Dirtbag Crew touch to throwback Starter silhouettes. Pieces include Starterâs iconic Satin Jacket featuring a two-tone color-blocked construction and custom patches; a Breakaway Anorak Jacket; and a co-branded tracksuit; as well as retro-inspired baseball jerseys, hoodies, and long & short-sleeve tees round out the capsule.
The lookbook above was shot in Los Angeles and features Young Dirty Bastard — son of legendary Wu-Tang Clan founding member Olâ Dirty Bastard.
The HUF x Starter Collaboration is available now at HUFâs flagship stores, online shop, and select retailers.
