How would you describe Villain Park in a few sentences?

Villain Park is something that can’t be imitated or matched. We call ourselves the watchers because we see everything that’s going on in the industry today but still we remain ourselves. VP is more than a rap group. This is a lifestyle, a movement, a company, as well as a brotherhood. We’re just here to give the people an example of what following your true intuition looks like!

What is your process for making music? How do the songs come together?

Organic and never forced.

How would you describe the music that you make?

A soundtrack for the world. A voice for the people. Theme of the streets. Our music is a mix influenced by our lives and the vibrations we feel day to day.

Who are your some of your biggest influences?

Some of our influencers are artist and groups like Wu Tang Clan, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Tha Dogg Pound, N.W.A, Slum Village, Marvin Gaye, Tribe Called Quest, Curtis Mayfield and etc. All of our parents played a lot of oldies in our household so the taste varies.

What are the last five albums you guys have checked out?

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib – Bandana
Nas – The Lost Tapes 2
Dreamville – Revenge of the Dreamers 3
Murs – The Liiad is Dead and the Odyssey is Over
Schoolboy Q – Crash Talk

Who would be your dream collaboration and why?

KENDRICK LAMAR – DR. DRE – DJ QUIK – NAS – JAY ROCK – SNOOP DOGG – BATTLE CAT – PHARREL – MADLIB – KANYE WEST – METHOD MAN – GHOST FACE KILLAH – THE ROOTS. We chose them because of  how unique they are as artists/producers. When most of their names are brought up in a conversation, they put respect on it. Us as artist, we’re aiming for that same caliber.
