Arizona-based State Bicycle Co. has teamed up with streetwear legend Jeff Staple for a limited edition Staple Pigeon Big BMX Cruiser.
The bike features a 4130 Chromoly Steel frame with 26” wheels, is adorned with “razzle-dazzle” camo, and sports Staple’s signature pink color. Staying true to State Bicycle Co.’s fixed-gear roots, the bike has a flip-flop hub, so riders who want to experience fixed-gear riding can easily switch between fixed/freewheel (traditional coasting) gearing.
“We are stoked to be partnering with State Bicycle, especially at a time where there are more commuters on bikes, and city streets are also being repurposed to be more commuter friendly during the pandemic,” said Jeff Staple. “Through this collaboration, it was important to blend performance with street style, essential to every modern cyclist.”
The Staple collab is the latest in a number of recent interesting drops. In the past, State collaborated with Carrots, Fruit Loops, The Simpsons, NBA star Devin Booker, and rapper Killer Mike.
The Staple Pigeon Big BMX Cruiser is available now at StateBicycle.com for $599.99 USD.
