Rock The Bells Boston Canceled

After three successful festivals — in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York — the 2011 Rock The Bells Festival in Boston has been canceled. After being moved from September 10th to the 24th in an announcement last week, Guerilla Union (the event’s organizers) have scrapped the event all together. “We are very disappointed that our Boston Rock The Bells Festival stop had to be cancelled this year,” Guerilla Union’s Chang Weisberg said in a statement. “Unfortunately, we will not be able to execute the festival to our standards and apologize to the fans who have supported Rock The Bells and quality hip-hop…

The Rock The Bells Festival Series invaded New York’s Governor’s Island on Saturday (September 3), and it was quite a show. For the second year in a row, Guerilla Union enlisted some of hip-hop’s most classic names to perform full album sets … of their best known albums. Rock The Bells’ Boston Festival Stop Postponed Until September 24.

The Boston-area date of the final date of the Rock The Bells 2011 Festival Series, originally scheduled for Saturday (September 10), has been rescheduled for later this month on September 24 at the Comcast Center. Lauryn Hill Brings Out Her Kids During Rock The Bells NY, Reunites With Pras

Although Lauryn Hill is usually a private person, which is why she was away from music so long, the legendary female rapper made it a family affair at New York’s Rock The Bells Festival stop at Governor’s Island on Saturday (September 3), bringing out her kids during her headlining performance.
