The Donda West law, which was introduced in September, has officially become a California state law. It
was inspired by the late mother of rapper Kanye West, and makes health checks and a written clearance mandatory before being allowed to undergo plastic surgery in the state.
Its been nearly two years ago since Donda West, the mother of rap superstar Kanye West, died at the age of 58 as a result of complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure. Well, her death wasn’t in vein, because it helped a new law pass in California this week.
