Benzino Recalls 1994 Source Awards, Says Tupac Punked Q-Tip (Video)

Tuesday (September 13) is the 15th anniversary of the death of the hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur. Throughout his career, he had several memorable moments. One specifically, is when he bum-rushed the stage at the 1994 Source Awards, punking Q-Tip of legendary hip-hop trio, A Tribe Called Quest. In a recent interview The Source co-founder Benzino recalled the incident, explaining what happened. Benzino Arrested In Miami Beach For Reckless Driving, Threatening A Police Officer

Benzino — a rapper, and former co-owner of The Source magazine — was arrested in Miami Beach last Friday (July 8), after threatening a police officer. According to the Random Pixels, the rapper (real name: Raymond Scott) was pulled over after police witnessed him driving erratically. Once stopped, Zino allegedly threatened the officer. After a search of the vehicle, cops found a specialized handgun, called an FN Five-Seven, that shoots rifle rounds. Zino was then arrested, and charged…
