Los Angeles rapper Slim 400 has been shot and killed. He was just 33 years old.

Details are sketchy, but TMZ reports that Slim 400 was shot sometime Wednesday night (December 8) in Inglewood, California.

ABC7 said that police officers were on patrol near 7th and Manchester shortly before 8 p.m. local time when they heard gunshots nearby. Officers are said to have discovered a man β€œon the ground suffering from gunshot wounds,” at which point the victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.

Raised in Compton, the rapper has collaborated with friend YG and formed his own label Ice Wata.

Slim was shot 9 times in the summer 2019 and luckily survived. During the shooting, he was targeted while visiting family in Compton.

Slim also made headlines for a public feud with 6ix9ine who he called out for claiming membership of the Bloods, but didn’t live by the same code.

He previously dared 6ix9ine to come to Los Angeles and not “check in” with him. The two had a confrontation in Long Beach, California as 6ix9ine attempted to enter the annual Complex Con event. Slim blocked him from entering, and ultimately, 6ix9ne and his team left.
