After debuting their single in May, genre-bending, electronic-rock outfit AHZ has premiered the music video for their debut single “Bad Decisions” on MTV, directed by Adam O’Rourke and co-produced by Michael Utsinger.
“The reaction to our first single ‘Bad Decisions’ has been nothing short of incredible. We’ve heard from fans all around the world that have connected with the song and how we were trying to do something different musically. Now to have MTV on to premiere the video and support AHZ is amazing,” says band member Brody Jenner. “MTV has a history of breaking some of the biggest bands, so to have them support our debut video is definitely a big milestone for us.”
Another interesting part of the story is AHZ’s collaboration with Utsinger, who will transition from behind the camera and into the spotlight. Utsinger is a true Los Angeles Renaissance man, tastemaker and entrepreneur, who is slated to appear in the upcoming season of MTV’s The Hills, alongside return cast member Brody Jenner. In addition to his work with AHZ, Utsinger is a seasoned producer and casting director who has worked on projects with everyone from Pharrell and Migos to Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Future and Will Smith, among others.
MTV has debuted the broadcast premiere of “Bad Decisions” on MTV Live and mtvU. It is available now at all digital platforms via Regime Music Group.
