PUMA has announced their biggest launch of the year, a brand new franchise/technology called LQD CELL.
The new release is an evolution of PUMA’s signature franchise CELL, which first debuted in the ’90s and was relaunched and revamped in the fall of 2018. LQD CELL (pronounced liquid) has the aesthetic of a streetwear sneaker, but with built in technology of a performance shoe, making it the perfect hybrid of fashion meets technology.
The sneaker features soft yet sturdy hexagonal cells that compress and work together with ProFoam to keep you steady while you work out, as well as smaller cells than the original CELL technology that are arranged in a new configuration to further maximize shock absorption.
The PUMA LQD CELL Origin AR will be the first drop from PUMA’s LQD CELL collection. It launches April 4th at PUMA.com and in select retailers worldwide, and retails for $120 USD.
Buyers of the LQD CELL Origin AR can unlock an enhanced shopping experience through augmented reality (AR) in the LQD CELL AR app.
