P. Diddy is infamous for throwing lavish parties, but the rapper had a little too much fun celebrating his 49th birthday recently because he ended up having to close it down early when the cops got called.
The music mogul, who owns Bad Boy Records, started out the day skydiving and landing at the PlayBoy Mansion.
P. Diddy, other wise known as Sean Combs, even posted video footage of his outing on his Instagram page.
“Just close your eyes and jump!!! NO FEAR!!! Thank you to my family for all the support. Best birthday ever!” he captioned the post.
After flying high during the day, P. Diddy then went to Ysabel, a popular restaurant in West Hollywood, with several high-profile stars, before moving the party to his $40M Los Angeles mansion later that night.
P. Diddy’s star-studded bash included appearances from Usher, Jordyn Woods, Tracee Ellis Ross, Wiz Khalifa, Beyonce, Kodak Black, Chantel Jeffries, Karrueche Tran, LeBron James, Jeezy, Snoop Dogg, Larsa Pippen, Kourtney Kardashian to name a few.
According to TMZ, police officers received noise complaint calls around 2 a.m. Monday morning from neighbors. When officers arrived on scene, there were allegedly around 50 cars piled up near Puff Daddy’s crib and around 200 lit guests inside. The police then ended up telling P. Diddy’s security officers to close the party down, or they would do it themselves. His security then complied and shut down the wild affair, before any arrests were made.
But this wasn’t Sean Combs first rodeo. According to The Hollywood Reporter, P. Diddy first started throwing elaborate parties in 1998 with his exclusive, all-white Labor Day parties in his nice crib in East Hampton. P. Diddy has thrown the epic Labor Day party in Beverly Hills and St. Tropez as well.
“I remember the first party he threw in the Hamptons,” Paris Hilton said in an interview with THR. “It was iconic and everyone was there.”
P.Diddy’s ex girlfriend of 11 years, Cassie, 32, was not at his most recent party — they split three weeks ago — however, she did post a black and white photo of him with the caption “Happy Birthday, King.”
Although they’re not together anymore, Cassie sure has one thing right: P. Diddy is the king of parties.
