On September 20th, according to Vibe.com, Suge Knight struck a plea deal with Los Angeles Superior Court surrounding the 2015 death of Terry Carter, a record label owner. During the filming of Straight Outta Compton, Knight got into a heated argument with Carter and another man, Cle “Bone” Sloan, got into his truck and struck the two men. Sloan escaped with injuries. Knight plea deal was a 28 year sentence although time served was allowed.
Suge Jacob Knight, the elder Suge Knight’s son, was not happy with the deal and spoke out in a video that TMZ posted.
Suge Jr. worries stem from his dad’s ongoing health problems that will seemingly get worse in a prison setting as well as feeling the whole plea deal was set up so that the Suge Sr. will never get out. It’s also understandable how Suge Jr. also feels about his father going to prison, however his father’s direct actions led to someone losing their own life.
Suge Jr. had a lot to say about other artists, both alive and dead, as The Jasmine Brand reported. Suge Jr. claimed that Tupac was alive and well in Malaysia, claiming that “they” (being the Illuminati) were coming for him and posted some badly edited photos of Beyonce and 50 Cent with Tupac.
It’s not clear what is going on with Suge Jr., but he’s clearly struggling with with the news of his father. From the outside looking in, it’s easy to forget that Suge Jr. only knows Suge Knight as “dad” and his perspective is that his dad is getting being away from him. Hopefully he and his siblings find comfort and support with each other and their families.
