Creed 2: What To Expect

The latest trailer for Creed 2 was recently released and it did not disappoint: epic scenes such as Adonis Creed standing face to face with Viktor Drago, the son of the infamous boxer Ivan Drago, the man responsible for the death of Adondis’s father and the boxing legend Apollo Creed.

Adonis Creed is coming off of a split decision defeat against “Pretty” Ricky Conlan, where many believed he had won the fight in the first Creed movie.

In the opening seconds of the Creed 2 trailer, you see Adonis running down a highway in the middle of nowhere and he says, “ If we don’t do what we love, then we wouldn’t exist”.

Creed looks to be in the best shape of his life, preparing for another gruesome fight.

It goes on to later reveal that Viktor Drago has issued a challenge to Adonis Creed, via ESPN.

Rocky Balboa played by the legendary actor Sylvester Stallone tells Adonis, “Don’t do this which Adonis responded, “I don’t have a choice”.

To the displeasure of Balboa he went on to say, “That’s the same thing that your father said when he died right here in my arms.”

Rocky shows his concern for Creed’s safety throughout the trailer saying, “That kid was raised in hate, he’s dangerous”.

He tells his mother Mary Anne Creed, “ I want to re-write history. She goes on to tell him, “If you want to fight this man, then that’s your business. But don’t pretend this is about your father”.

Viktor Drago played by 6’4 boxer from Romania, Florian Munteanu had to go through a series of vigorous workout and training regimes to bulk up to play the intimating boxer.

This looks to be the toughest test of Adonis Creed’s career; with more then a boxing reputation to live up to, his family’s name is also on the line.

Creed 2 is set released on November 21st, 2018
