People want to kill Pete Davidson for bagging Ariana Grande.

The “SNL” star revealed on an interview with Howard Stern that when he and Grande first went public with their relationship earlier this year, people sent him death threats.

“Someone wanted to shoot me in the face because she’s so hot,” Davidson said. “Do you know how insane that is? I was like, ‘Am I that ugly that people want to shoot me in the face?'”

The couple have come under a lot of attention lately, from their quick engagement to their “role” in Grande’s ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller’s death.

Miller died on Sept. 7 at age 26 from a drug-overdose and just like his fans blamed Grande for his DUI after their breakup in May, they blamed her for his death, due to her engagement to Davidson.

After Miller’s death, the couple skipped the Emmys on Sept. 17, even though Davidson’s SNL co-stars and friends Colin Jost and Michael Che were hosting.

Grande’s team reached out to People, and stated that she “is going to take some much-needed time to heal and mend.”

“She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline,” the statement said, “She thanks her fans for their understanding.”

And since then, the couple have remained mostly quiet, except for Miller’s interview last week on Stern and some tweets Ariana posted just recently.

Grande tweeted that “everything will be okay,” but then commented later, “j-f*cking K.” She also tweeted the public, saying “can I pls have one okay day. Just one. Pls.”

Grande was also scheduled to perform on the season premiere of “SNL”, but creator Lorne Michaels said on an episode of the Origins with James Andrew Miller podcast that Kanye West would be taking her place.
