Lil Wayne’s long awaited Tha Carter V album has been delayed yet again. The rapper’s 12th and final studio album has had numerous release dates within the last six years, and while fans were hopeful that it’d come this year, it has been pushed back.
Wayne first announced Tha Carter V during a 2012 interview with MTV News. It was initially delayed due to issues that Lil Wayne had with Birdman and Cash Money.
After nearly three years of feuding, both sides reportedly settled a legal battle in June, which finally makes way for the release of the long-delayed album.
Many believed that Tha Carter V would drop on September 21st. But, the date came and went with no release.
Fans took to Twitter to show their frustration with the star rapper, with one fan saying “This is BS, I’ve lost all trust in this album ever getting released”.
While we’ve yet to get a solid release date, if Tha Carter V is anything like the last 4, it will be worth the wait.
