Over the last year, the historic Mayfair Hotel in Los Angeles has been going through a major renovation, bringing it back to its past glory. As part of the reno, the company has enlisted the help of legendary street artist RISK and LA-based management firm Regime 72 to lead the charge for its art and music programs.

With the help of RISK, who has been named its Artist-In-Residence, the Mayfair has curated a multi-million dollar collection of art that is displayed throughout the hotel, reflecting L.A.’s vibrant art scene. The collection includes pieces from not only RISK, but a long list of who’s who in the art world, including Shepard Fairey, Geoff Melville, Richard Mirando, and Estevan Oriol, to name a few.

Their hard work and preparation culminated with an epic grand opening last Friday (Aug. 17), where industry professionals, influencers, prominant media and legendary figures in the scene got a first look at the brand new Mayfair Hotel.

Following an evening of cocktails and art, guests were treated to a private performance by recording artists Mickey Avalon and Landon Mcnamara.

Moving forward, Regime and RISK will produce further events — including monthly art exhibits, live concerts, fashion showcases and culinary experiences — in the coming months.
