Rising Alabama rapper OMB Peezy has delivered his first full-length mixtape, titled Loyalty Over Love.
Moving to the West Coast at age 12, Peezy eventually started releasing music online and gained a following on YouTube, as well as respect from Bay Area artists like Nef The Pharaoh and the legendary E-40. In 2017, he parlayed his grassroots local fanbase into a national following, after his singles “When I Was Down,” “Porch,” and “Lay Down” went viral.
Now, he delivers his first full-length project, following 2017’s Humble Beginnings.
Loyalty Over Love is stuffed with Dirty South instrumentals, as well as sharp lyrics about being a rising star and his legal system struggles. It features 12 tracks, with guest appearances from Mozzy, TK Kravitz, and Paper Lovee.
