Adidas is linking up with the makers of Dragon Ball Z for a series of collaborative kicks, each themed for characters from the franchise. So far, we’ve gotten a look at three different pairs.
The upcoming drop will include the Adidas ZX500 RM, which gets a “Goku” colorway; the Adidas Yung-1, getting a Frieza-inspired makeover; and a Cell-inspired version of the Adidas Prophere.
As you can see, the ZX500 RM “Goku” coming in Goku’s signature blue and orange color scheme, while sporting nubuck, leather, mesh and distressed canvas across the update, along with an embroidered Flying Nimbus motif. Final details include a Dragon Ball Z branded insole and a full-length BOOST midsole below, with contrasting orange and blue sole counters.
The Yung-1 comes in Frieza’s trademark colors of purple and white, which dominate the design; and the Prophere sports a green-speckled pattern with purple accents and detailing.
Release details are not confirmed yet, but the Dragon Ball Z x Adidas collaboration is expected to drop sometime in August at adidas.com.
