Offset was arrested in Georgia on Friday (July 20), after a gun turned up when police searched his vehicle.
According to TMZ, the Migos rapper was driving just outside Atlanta when his SUV was pulled over for tinted windows. After the stop, his vehicle was searched and officers found at least one gun in the vehicle.
Offset was arrested on four charges total, including possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of marijuana (one ounce or less), possession of a weapon during a crime, and an improper lane change. He is a convicted felon currently on probation.
The news follows a big change in Offset’s life. He and wife Cardi B welcomed their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, earlier this month. Cardi and his daughter were not with him during the time of his arrest.
Also, Offset and Migos are set to hit the road with Drake on the “Aubrey and The Three Amigos Tour,” which launches July 26 in Salt Lake City.
