In celebration of the brand’s 100th anniversary, Bentley is rolling out a super limited edition version of the Mulsanne that pays tribute to company founder W. O. Bentley.
The Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner is inspired by the owner’s own 1930 8-litre Bentley, which his personal car and the last he designed for the company to bear his name.
The luxurious sedan comes in “Onyx” with “Beluga Black” wheels and a chrome hood strip. One of the car’s highlights is a custom illuminated cabinet at the rear of the car, which features pieces of the crankshaft from the original car. When Bentley re-acquired the 8-Litre in 2006, the crankshaft was removed and has now been divided into 100 pieces, each being used in one of 100 editions of the Mulsanne W.O. Edition.
The limited Bentley vehicle will be unveiled at Monterey Car Week on Aug. 24.
