With a unique style, rap star Wiz Khalifa talks about his footwear game in the latest episode of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping series. In this installment, he stops by New York City’s famed Stadium Goods to recall sneaker memories.

Wiz talks about skating in Air Jordans growing up and how rapper Currensy put him up on game before both shot to fame, specifically retro Air Jordans.

Later, he talks about trimming down his personal sneaker collection and how he got into Converse Chuck Taylors and Vans. “I don’t remember exactly what age I was, but I remember my mom telling me I could go school shopping. I had $80 for shoes. The Air Forces costed $85. I could either get the Air Forces or two pairs of Chucks for $40 a piece. I was like, ‘Bam, that’s it.’ I got the blue ones, and I got the black ones,” Wiz said of his love for Chucks.

In the end, Wiz drops over $2K on kicks. Watch the episode to see what he cops.
