Three years after its launch in 2015, Adidas’ Confirmed App is set to shut down.
According to Yeezy Mafia, Confirmed will shut down in the coming weeks. Instead of being a standalone app, the functionality of Confirmed will be included within the official Adidas app.
“In the coming weeks Adidas Confirmed will transition away from being a standalone experience and will move under the Adidas App portfolio of services, where users will continue to have safe and fair access to the most anticipated Adidas releases,” an Adidas spokesperson said in a statement.
The Adidas Confirmed app debuted in 2015, with the release of Kanye West’s first Adidas Sneaker, the YEEZY BOOST 750. It was available initially in New York City, before expanding to major cities across the country (Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, etc.).
