If you missed it, an original pair of the Nike MAG, used in the 1989 classic Back to the Future II, hit the auction block recently… and has sold.
Listed on eBay by the Shoezeum, the movie prop pair — worn by Michael J. Fox‘s character Marty McFly in the film — sold… and the final bid was $92,100 USD, according to reports.
Though aged and crumbling, the Nike MAG features a blue-flecked foam sole, LED lights in the heel, and a glowing Nike logo on the strap. As you can see in the photo, the heel portion has begun to crumble and deteriorate, due to age.
The Nike MAG from Back to the Future II is definitely an iconic piece of sneaker history.
