In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Nissan GT-R, as well as Italdesign, the two brands collaborate on this epic iteration of the iconic sports car.
The end result is this “GT-R50,” a prototype based on the 2018 GT-R Nismo, but with bespoke detailing throughout.
The supercar spots a hand-assembled 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6, with is outfitted withs NISMO upgrades such as larger turbos and intercoolers, beefed-up pistons, connecting rods and bearings. The car’s design is modded as well, with a lowered roof, steeper rear window rake, and redesigned hood, allowing it to hit 710 hp.
The exterior is covered with a “Liquid Kinetic Gray” paint job, which is accented by “Energetic Sigma Gold” and custom 21-inch wheels. Inside, we see a carbon-finished center console and black Alcantara & leather upholstery.
The GT-R50 will premiere in Europe next month.
