Just days after the death of XXXTentacion, Florida police have made an arrest in the case.
According to TMZ, the Broward County Sheriff’s Dept. arrested 22-year-old Dedrick D. Williams on Wednesday night (June 20) and booked him for first-degree murder.
Additionally, Williams was hit with a probation violation for previous charges and is being held without bail.
Authorities have also issued two other arrest warrants in XXX’s murder, but those men have not been taken into custody, as of press time.
XXXTentacion was gunned down on Monday (June 18), as he left a motorcycle shop in Pompano Beach. Reports said two masked gunmen opened fire on the rapper’s BMW and he was killed instantly.
Since his death, the rapper’s music has shot up the digital charts. Fans and others within the industry were shocked by the news and expressed their disbelieve on social media.
