The music community was shocked after hearing that XXXTentacion had died, after he was shot to death in Florida. Fans, too, were just as shaken up and took to digital retailers to cop his music… sending his projects shooting up the charts.

On Amazon, X claimed the No. 1 and 2 spots on the retailer’s Movers and Shakers Digital Music list, with his album ? — which dropped in March — seeing a 41,306% spike in a matter of hours, while XXX’s 17 album is up nearly 9,000%, as reported by TMZ.

CD and vinyl sales also spiked, with ? jumping 542,566% and the CD for ? getting a 54,057% spike in sales.

iTunes was more of the same, with his track “SAD!”, from ?, hitting No. 1 on the singles chart, and “changes” hitting No. 5. The album itself shot to No. 3 overall, while 17 cracked the top 5.

XXXTentacion was shot in South Floriday on Monday (June 18). He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after. He was just 20 years old.
