If you missed the news over the weekend, Chief Keef was shot at in NYC on Saturday morning (June 2).

According to TMZ, unknown assailants opened fire on the Chicago rapper at around 6 a.m. outside the W Hotel in Times Square.

Chief Keef was returning to the hotel after a night out, when he was shot at. Luckily, they missed and hit the hotel signage instead.

Police found shell casings and are looking for two black men wearing black hoodies who fled the scene.

It’s unclear who the men are, but the shooting follows a recent beef with New York City rival Tekashi 6ix9ine, but so far, there’s nothing linking the shooting to their beef. 6ix9ine was in Los Angeles during the shooting.

Keef dropped his latest project, The Glo Files, Pt. 2 mixtape last month.
