To celebrate the launch of the AM4LA, Adidas has opened up a SPEEDFACTORY Lab Experience in Santa Monica.
Open to the public from May 25-26, the pop-up experience gives attendees the chance to receive a custom footscan to learn more about their running pattern, as well as test run with the new AM4LA shoe through various interactive experiences within the SPEEDFACTORY Lab Experience.
BallerStatus.com for an advance preview of the space ahead of its opening, during an event for select influencers, athletes and media, where we got a first look inside the SPEEDFACTORY Lab Experience, checked out the shoes up close, and even get a custom T-shirt or tote bag printed.
The AM4LA is SPEEDFACTORY’s first high-performance running shoe, made via Adidas’s continued partnership with Parley to create footwear with ocean plastic yarns. Each sneaker is equivalent to preventing 11 plastic bottles from entering the ocean. Through technology, innovation and data-driven design, the shoe is optimized for performance through fit, movement and comfort, with minimal material wasted.
The Adidas AM4LA features the brand’s Primeknit and BOOST technology, as well as Fused Bonding Construction, and a Floating Torsion Bar for effortless movement.
The sneaker is available now exclusively at the adidas Santa Monica store and select Consortium retailers for $200 and will be on adidas.com on June 2.
The SPEEDFACTORY Lab Experience is open to the public May 25-26 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel (101 Wilshire Blvd. Santa Monica, CA 90401).
