Mac Miller was arrested early Thursday morning (May 17), after he drunkenly crashed and fled the scene.
According to TMZ, the rapper (born Malcolm James McCormick) was driving his 2016 Mercedes G-Wagon in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles at around 1 am, when he crashed into an electric pole. Instead of sticking around, Mac and two others fled the scene on foot.
Once police arrived, they ran the plates and discovered it was the rapper’s car. When they went to his home, he confessed to driving while drunk and fleeing.
Officers tell TMZ Miller was “the most polite and nice intoxicated person we’ve ever seen.”
Mac was hauled off to jail and released later that morning after posting $15,000 bond.
