Despite all his skill and greatness, Chris Paul has never made it pass the second round of the NBA playoffs. But, that all changed this week.

13 years into his career, CP3 makes the conference finals for the first time.

When asked if he is going to celebrate this moment, he said no.

“Not at all. Who plays just for that?” Paul told ESPN, following the Rockets’ Game 5 win over the Utah Jazz on Tuesday nigth (May 8). “Know what I’m saying? Not at all, not at all. We’ve got eight more wins to get. I don’t know what it’s supposed to feel like, but we’ve still got a lot of work to do.”

Now, as he enters the next round, Paul no longer holds the record for most playoff experience in NBA history without a conference finals.

His Rockets’ next challenge is the Golden State Warriors.

Can he lead the team to the Finals? What do you think?
