Bill Cosby has been charged on three counts of aggravated indecent assault and faces up to 10 years in prison for each. Wow!
The trial lasted 13 days and ended with a jury of seven men and five women ultimately finding the legendary actor guilty of drugging and molesting Andrea Constand in 2004. During the trial, multiple testimonies were given, including those from five women, who also accused Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them.
According to TMZ, multiple witnesses claimed Cosby lashed out after prosecutors asked he be taken in to custody immediately, because he owns a private plane and could flee.
Cosby yelled, “He doesn’t have a private plane, you a**hole!”
Cosby’s guilty verdict follow his second trial, after the first ended in a mistrial back in 2017.
Sexual assault allegations against Cosby first surfaced in 2014 when his past sexual misconduct came to light. Since then, upwards of 40 women have come forth claiming assault from Cosby, some dating all the way back to the 1960’s.
At age 80, Cosby now faces a maximum total of 10 years for each charge. He was released on $1 million bail and ordered to stay in his home until sentencing.
