When Lil Wayne is performing, don’t throw things on the stage. At least that’s what he’s been telling fans as of late.
After threatening fans in Australia for this very thing last month, the rapper warned fans again over the weekend, while performing at the Cannabis Cup on Saturday (Apr. 21) in San Bernardino, Calif.
While performing his classic hit, “A Milli”, Wayne asked the DJ to stop the music and addressed the crowd… after someone threw something on the stage.
“Y’all throwing stuff on stage,” he said. “I don’t know if it’s love, or y’all trying to promote something, but I’m from New Orleans and we don’t know how to accept that sh*t. I got New Orleans people with me and all they know how to throw back is shoot. They’ll just shoot.”
“I don’t want to end this show in a bad way, so don’t do that,” Weezy added.
From there, the music was turned back on and Wayne continued the show.
Luckily, there was no shooting, as he warned.
