Kanye West seems to have acquired Twitter fingers these days. The multi-talented artist has been fairly vocal on the social media site recently, dropping pictures of his latest YEEZY slides, even revealing that he has new projects on the way. Although the news of new music from Kanye already excited fans to their core, it was his Nas reveal that truly had them deep in their feelings.

The news of an upcoming Kanye-produced Nas album came after Ye posted a two-part tweet announcing release dates for some of the things he’s been working on, including rapper Pusha T’s new album (dropping May 25), a new solo 7-track work (dropping June 1), a joint effort with Cudi and himself (dropping June 8), Teyana Taylor’s new album (June 22), and a surprise Nas project (dropping June 15).

“I’m hand producing all the albums I tweeted about. Been chopping samples from the sunken place Pusha May 25th My album June 1st me and Cudi June 8th and Teyana June 22nd and oh yeah… Nas June 15th”

This isn’t the first time the legendary lyricist and all-star producer have collaborated. Kanye co-produced “Poppa Was A Playa” from Nas’ 2002 compilation album The Lost Tapes, and later joined him in 2006 for “Still Dreaming” from his album Hip Hop Is Dead. More recently, both artists came together for French Montana’s Wave Gods track “Figure It Out.” Ye also contributed music Nas’ film The Land starring Erykah Badu.

With all of the new projects Kanye West has been working on, we can assuredly look forward to an eventful 2018 in music.
