After the successful release of Nipsey Hussle’s debut studio album, Victory Lap, the rapper announced that he will be going on tour this summer.

Commencing at Irving City Plaza in New York, the 11-city trek will begin on June 4 and make stops in Maryland, Boston, Georgia, and Texas. The tour will continue on to Nipsey’s hometown, the West Coast, where he will perform at the Staples Center on June 23 and conclude in Seattle on June 29.

The rapper released Victory Lap in partnership with Atlantic Records in February, selling 53,000 copies in its first week and opened at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 — a great accomplishment for an independent artist. His success can be credited to his strong work ethic and sharp business practices.

While special guests have yet to be announced for the “Victory Lap Tour,” we could see appearances from Kendrick Lamar, YG, Puff Daddy, or The Dream at select dates, as they were all featured on the album. Fingers crossed they all show up for the tour.
