Something most thought would never happen has happened. Bhad Bhabie (aka the “Cash Me Ousside” girl) has been nominated for Top Female Rap Artist at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.

On Tuesday (April 17), Billboard shared the nominees for their upcoming awards show… and Bhad Bhabie is in the running for the award, against Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

Surprising, right? It was to her as well.

TMZ caught up with Bhad Bhabie and she said she wasn’t expecting a nomination, but feels like she’s “already won” by just being nominated, which you can’t really argue with. However, she doesn’t think she’ll win. “Obviously Cardi is gonna win,” the “Cash Me Ousside” girl told a TMZ camera man. “She really deserves it. I’m just getting started.”

Bhad Bhabie wasn’t done though. She went on to say that Cardi is “way better” than Nicki Minaj — a debate that has been circulating hip-hop circles since last year. “Cardi is way better than Nicki, I don’t care what anyone says,” she said. “Cardi actually says stuff. Nicki just has attitude… so what? Wow, big deal.”

Cardi has had a banner year so far. Her anticipated debut, Invasion of Privacy, opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart… and she performed on the big stage at Coachella.

While Cardi (or Nicki) is the likely winner for the Top Female Rap Artist award, it’s surprising that Bhad Bhabie is in the conversation.

Do you guys think she has a chance?
