Cardi B’s “Invasion of Privacy” Tops the Billboard 200 Chart

Cardi B - Invasion of Privacy

It seems we can’t even go a week without talking about Cardi B. Makes sense, with her career as hot as it is right now.

Fans finally got what they have been waiting for earlier this month, when Cardi released her debut album… and the first week results are officially in: Invasion of Privacy takes the throne at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Invasion of Privacy also swept the streaming world in its first week, gathering 100 million streams worldwide, according to Complex.

Cardi has been unstoppable since her smash single “Bodak Yellow” hit the airways last year, and she’s far from done. Aside from making hit records, she’s cemented herself in pop culture. Just this past week, Cardi became the first ever co-host on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and performed on Saturday Night Live, during which she announced her not so secret pregnancy with fiance Offset.

Although a pregnancy would slow down most women, not Cardi. She hit the Coachella stage on Sunday (April 15).

Keep grinding Cardi, we’re sure you’ll be back with some more record-breaking news next week.
