After sparking speculation earlier this week, with a tweet that simply read “4”, Nicki Minaj has announced that new music is on the way.

The rap superstar took to social media to announce the upcoming release of new songs called “Chun Li” and “Barbies Tingz”, both of which are slated to drop on Thursday (April 12).

Nicki posted the cover art for both singles, which both appear to be solo Nicki joints.

They will drop at 10 am PST/1 pm EST.

Nicki has been counting down on Twitter, posting the now deleted “4” on Sunday (April 8), following by “3” on Monday (April 9), which she later deleted. Now, we know what that is all about.

So far this year, Nicki has been quiet and social media. Fans have been anxiously awaiting new music from her, being that it’s been over three years since she released The Pinkprint.

While she did drop “Changed It,” “No Frauds” and “Regret in Your Tears” in March 2017, things got quiet thereafter.
