With Coachella 2018 kicking off this weekend, Adidas has announced that it is dropping the Ultraboost Clima early to festival goers.
The sneaker is the first UltraBOOST model to feature moisture-wicking Clima yarns in key sweat zones within an open structure Primeknit upper. It also adds a breathable cage made of the same material, replacing TPU to provide stability, while a looser weave on the Primeknit upper makes for high air flow.
Dropping a day before retail, the Adidas UltraBOOST Clima will be available at Adidas Running’s Clima Experience pop up in the middle of the Palm Springs desert, as travelers make their way to Coachella on April 12 and 13.
Like the shoe’s triple black colorway, Adidas is erecting an all-black structure that will sit on 100 acres against a mountain landscape off the 10 freeway at Exit 117 (N. Indian Canyon Drive).
The Ultraboost Clima will retail for $200 at the pop-up, located at 62950 20th Avenue in Palm Springs in three colorways for men (triple black, triple white and grey) and two for women (triple white and grey) in Ultraboost X Clima. The pop up will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT on April 12 and 13.
Additionally pairs drop April 13 at Adidas.com and Adidas stores.
