Fans have been dying for Cardi B to release her debut album, and the wait is finally over.
After much anticipation, the New York rapper took to social media on Tuesday (March 27) and made the announcement. “Ladies and Gents!!! My album Invasion of Privacy will be out next week, April 6!” she wrote on Instagram.
Cardi first announced that her debut album would be releasing in October 2017 at the Made In America Festival back in September, but as October came and went, she admitted she was feeling the pressure. “I have a lot of pressure on me,” she wrote to Twitter. “Sometimes I think it’s ready sometimes I think it’s not, so I’m going to take my time till’ it’s right.”
I have a lot of pressure on me.I️ have songs stashed up .I just don’t think they qualified for my album .Sometimes i think is ready sometimes i think it’s not so I’m going to take my time till it’s right.

Cardi proved that perfection can’t be rushed, because she has been making nothing but money moves since the start of 2018.
Just two months ago, Cardi became the first woman ever to have five of the top 10 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. For perspective, she beat out Queen Bey for the spot and tied with Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
With hits such as “Bodak Yellow” and “Bartier Cardi” expected to be on the album, we already know Invasion of Privacy will not disappoint.
