Tiffany Haddish’s career has been on fire lately, and she just added yet another gig to the list: The Lego Movie 2.
According to Variety, the actress/comedian just landed a star role in The Lego Movie sequel, though further details are unknown.
The 38-year-old began her career in front of the screen as an extra until she began making a name for herself in 2014 in the television drama If Loving You Is Wrong. She then had her breakout moment in 2017, with the release of Girl’s Trip, in which she hilariously played the part of Dina. From that moment on, her career exploded and her face was everywhere we turned.
Haddish recently became the first black female stand-up comedian to host Saturday Night Live! and will soon be the first black woman to host the MTV Movie & TV Awards this June. Aside from her record-breaking moments, the actress has several projects up her sleeve.
Try to stay with me as all of Haddish’s upcoming projects are listed: the TBS comedy series The Last O.G., Tyler Perry’s The List, Night School alongide Kevin Hart, The Kitcken with Melissa McCarthy, Uncle Drew, Limited Partners, The Temp, The Oath, AND an adult animated series called Turc and Bertie. Not to mention, she just signed two separate deals with Netflix and HBO. How one person has time for all of this, we don’t know, but Haddish is definitely in her bag.
The Lego Movie 2 is set to release on Feb. 8. 2019 and will be starring other big names such as Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, and Channing Tatum.
