Kendrick Lamar

At only 30-years old, rapper Kendrick Lamar has already made the G.O.A.T. list for hip-hop connoisseurs. He’s also expressed his desire to enter into the acting arena, as a villain in Marvel’s Black Panther sequel. Now, it has been announced that Kendrick has a biography in the works.

Journalist, music critic, and senior editor of Bandcamp, Marcus J. Moore, revealed via Twitter Friday morning (March 23) that he just wrapped a deal with Touchstone Books and is all set to write his project, which will dawn the title, The Butterfly Effect: How Kendrick Lamar Ignited the Soul of Black America.

The book will chronicle the Compton lyricist’s ascension to rap stardom.

“Some big news I've been eager to share: I've signed with ‪@TouchstoneBooks‬ to write the cultural biography of Kendrick Lamar. My book, ‘The Butterfly Effect: How Kendrick Lamar Ignited the Soul of Black America,’ will detail his rise to rap superstardom.”

No details have been released as to when we can expect this project, but it sounds fire!
