XXXTentacion filed legal documents recently, asking that he be released from house arrest, so that he may tour and generate revenue for himself.

Apparently, a judge has granted his request.

According to TMZ, the Florida rapper argued that not being able to tour will impact his finances greatly.

XXX released his new album ? earlier this month, and is planning to tour in support of the project.

A judge has obliged, letting him off house arrest, under a few stipulations. He will be required to submit monthly drug tests and report his travel, according to TMZ.

His attorney, David Bogenschutz, said: “Hopefully these are the first steps towards complete freedom.”

XXX is facing 15 felony charges, including witness tampering, in an ongoing domestic violence case. He’s accused of beating up his ex-girlfriend while she was was pregnant.

XXXTentacion’s ? album is on top to top the Billboard 200 and has spawned two Hot 100 hits — “SAD!” and “Changes.”
