Young Thug

It wasn't long ago that Young Thug not only changed his name to "Sex", but also announced that the world would not receive any new music from him for a year, in respect to his deaf brother. However, the star may just be going against the grain and releasing new music anyway.

The zesty star is apparently readying new music with Nicki Minaj! Now, Nicki has been relatively mute these past few months with no new collaborations, tweets, or posts of any kind. She has not posted anything on Instagram since December and also has her comments section turned off.

Thugga took to Instagram Live to share news that the two are collaborating. Afterwards, a snippet from the two made its way to Twitter! "Did somebody call for the Queen?!" Minaj proudly asks in the preview.

This also would not be the first time the two have teamed up before. The duo have previously created magic in songs like Rae Sremmurd's "Throw Sum Mo", Juicy J's "Low", and even on a remix of Thugga's very own "Danny Glover," where Nicki hit fans with an unforgettable verse. Individually, Thug has been lighting up the industry with collaborations with Camilla Cabello ("Havana"), A-Trak ("Ride For Me") and Trae Tha Truth ("Don't Know Me"). Although very silent, Nicki left fans with a number of collaborations with artists such as A$AP Ferg ("Plain Jane Remix"), Quavo ("She For Keeps"), Lil Wayne ("5 Star") and many more!

Although Thugga claims to be on this one-year hiatus, we will see if he truly follows through! On the contrary, Ms. Minaj is currently in the kitchen working on the follow-up to 2014's The PinkPrint.

We've got our eyes on you two!
