French Montana continues giving back.
After raising money to help the impoverished country of Uganda, the New York rapper has now opened a hospital in the country after witnessing their health-related hardships last year.
According to TMZ, the new medical center is up and running and equipped to serve 300,000 people.
Montana’s efforts in Uganda came after he filmed his “Unforgettable” video in the country last year.
From then on, he became a Global Citizen Ambassador and began efforts to raise money to help. In addition to donating himself, he’s also tapped wealthy friends like The Weeknd and Diddy, the latter donating $200,000 earlier this year.
“It feels beautiful to be a child of God, citizen of the world and agent of change,” French recently told TMZ. “I’m helping the people that need help.”
