Lil Uzi Vert is now being sued, alongside Rick Ross, all because of a concert cancellation last year.

According to TMZ, the rappers were set to perform at Wild Things Park in Pennsylvania last June, but both cancelled less than two days before the event.

Rick Ross, whom the lawsuit was initially filed against, told event staffers he could not attend due to family and health reasons. Understandable, but the rapper was paid $150,000 in advance and has yet to refund the money.

Apparently, their contracts stated they could not cancel once the deal was signed and tickets went on sale, but Ross’ rep stated otherwise. “The contract always allowed for him to reschedule if he couldn’t perform due to illness.”

His rep also stated that Ross only received $40,000 upfront, not $150,000.

Lil Uzi Vert was a part of the deal with Ross, so it makes sense that he is now included in the lawsuit.

The pair is being sued for $200,000 in deposit money, as well as cancellation fees.
