Adidas Launches “Deerupt Experience” in Los Angeles

After introducing its new Deerupt runner, Adidas Originals helped a two-day pop-up installation in Los Angeles this past week, dubbed The Deerupt Experience.

The Three Stripes collaborated with visual artists to transform grid structures into altered physical spaces and immersive forms for attendees to experience. Inspired by urban planning, architecture, and natural phenomena, Deerupt holds the grid as its central design principle.

The immersive event experience filled the senses with visual and auditory stimulation throughout the various spaces. Each space different from the last, but each incorporating a grid design through textures, patterns, layers, and perspectives.

The Deerupt Experience was held in support of the release of the Adidas Deerupt.

The shoe, itself, takes inspiration from Adidas Running silhouettes from the ‘80s, the New York runner and Marathon Training show, with the grid design stretched to cover the entire upper. The Adidas Deerupt is set to release globally on March 22nd for $120 USD.
