After embracing his gangster rap roots last year with Neva Left, Snoop Dogg takes it to the church for his first gospel album, Bible of Love.
The new project features 32 new songs, with appearances from the likes of Charlie Wilson, Faith Evans, K-Ci, Kim Burrell, The Clark Sisters, Daz Dillinger, Jazze Pha, and more.
Though Snoop is known for his hardcore hip-hop style, he says gospel is something he wanted to try for some time now.
In a past interview, he said: “It’s always been on my heart. I just never got around to it because I always be doing gangsta business or doing this or doing that. I just felt like it’s been on my heart too long. I need to do it now.”
