Rapper, actor, reality star, and now, co-producer; T.I. is a man about his business.
The hip-hop star’s impressive resume expands, with news that he is set to co-produce a musical drama, titled Glow Up, reports Deadline.
The film is said to take place at an underfunded all-girls school in Los Angeles. A performance group, at risk of losing it all, has their eye set on a huge cash prize at a national singing competition. Naturally, drama unfolds within the group and their chances of lasting are at stake.
In addition to producing, T.I will be starring in the film and curating the soundtrack. There’s no word on what type of role he will play, but it’s only right that he at least makes a cameo.
T.I. will be co-producing alongside Robbie Brenner, producer of the award winning film Burden, Kevin McKeon, and Brian Sher.
The film has yet to announce a release date, but one thing for sure is, T.I. has his hands full with ATL2 on its way; Ant Man and the Wasp which is set to release in July; and hopefully the release of his 10th album that he promised fans years ago.
