Following news of Rick Ross’ hospitalization on Thursday (March 1), more details have surfaced… and apparently, it’s worse than initially thought.
According to TMZ, the hip-hop mogul has been hooked up to machines, which are taking over the function of his heart and lungs. The report say he’s essentially on life support.
Doctors have put him on something called ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation), where a machine is being used to oxygenate his blood outside of his body before it’s pumped back in.
Rozay is currently being treated at a Miami area hospital in the cardiatric unit — leading most to believe he actually suffered a heart attack.
As previously reported, the rapper was rushed a hospital early Thursday morning, after someone at his home found him unresponsive, nearly unable to breath. The 911 caller reportedly told the dispatcher that he’s “slobbing at the mouth.”
Further details are unknown. Stay tuned…
