It looks like Big Sean’s “Unfriendly Reminder Tour” is on hold, announcing that he’s cancelled the dates to work on more music, according to an email sent to ticket holders, reported by The Detroit Free Press.

Despite the tour only being announced three weeks ago, the rapper states that he wants to remain “focused in the studio.”

“To all my fans: I’ve been in a deep creative space and decided I need to stay focused in the studio — so unfortunately, I am postponing my upcoming tour,” Big Sean stated in the email. “I learned in life you have to follow your intuition — I hope you do the same. Thank you for your continued love and support. It means the world to me. Trust, we are working on something special for you all.”

Big Sean is coming off a successful 2017, where he dropped his fourth studio album I Decided, as well as a collaborative project with Metro Boomin called Double or Nothin.

As of press time, it’s unclear when Sean plans to reschedule his tour dates.
