UFC star Nate Diaz hasn’t fought in the Octagon since losing a majority decision in his rematch with Conor McGregor in 2016, but he’s a regular at many major events.
The 32-year-old fighter (19-11) was spotted at UFC Fight Night in Austin on Sunday night (Feb. 18). The camera focused on him at one point during the evening… and he made the most of it.
As the crowd erupted in cheers when his face appeared on the big screen, Diaz waved in acknowledgement, before reaching out and placing a joint in his mouth. From there, he displayed a lighter and appeared to attempt to light the joint… as the camera quickly cut to the cage.

BTW, this was aired live on TV.
Despite kids being seated right behind him, fans on social media loved the moment… which is making headlines today.
Below are a couple reactions that pretty much some up how people felt about the brief Nate Diaz moments.

Lol, Lewis tells Jimmy Smith, "I know you're new, coming over from Bellator, but that's how I fight." This is immediately followed by a Nate Diaz showing, holding a blunt in his mouth and a lighter in his hand.
